We offer tutoring services at no charge to benefit our community. We're a not-for-profit organization, which means we don't make a single dime for our services. We want to serve and give back to our community.
We offer tutoring services for students 7 to 17. Instead of financial compensation, we ask clients to "pay it forward" and make food or cash donations (in the name of the Pay it Forward Tutoring Company) to the charities below:
ALY KARIM KHANMOHAMED, co-founder and tutor, is an 11th grade student at Saint Mary’s Hall. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Aly is employed at Kumon Math and Reading Center during the summer. There, he teaches children fundamental concepts in Math and English. Aly is among the top students in his class, has been inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, and is a member of the Student Council. As a two-time recipient of the President’s Service Gold Award for performing 500 hours of community service in both 9th and 10th grade, Aly has always enjoyed serving and giving back to the community by working directly with students.
Aly understands that the pandemic has taken a huge toll on children’s education all over the country. As a director of Pay it Forward, Aly wishes to support and inspire the community as we leave the pandemic behind us by assisting students who may need coaching and support with their school work. His work as a learning instructor and his leadership experience equip Aly with the skills necessary to be a confidante and a mentor for the youth.
